I get most of my DIY ideas through Instagram where a certain type of product is on the trend list but when I go to the website to buy it costs a fortune *middle class problems has entered chat* so that's why my last hope is DIY also its cheap and you know the quality of the product.
Lately I have been into tinted balm or something that would add color to my face and lips but not too much .just enough to add something ,sooo I came up with this
DIY LIP AND CHEEK TINT.
WHAT WE NEED?
GLYCERIN: Glycerin is a humectant and is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, and minor skin irritations. Emollients are substances that soften and moisturize the skin and decrease itching and flaking. This is basically oil but not exactly oil. This is going to act as our base for our lip tint
ROSE WATER: Rose water is created by distilling rose petals with steam. Rose water is fragrant.Often used for reducing irritation, reducing redness and, its filled with anti oxidant,IS REALLLLLYY GOOD FOR SKIN. This going to help us dilute glycerin and make our tint little water .
VITAMIN E CAPSULE : Vitamin E is packed with antioxidant that can help calm inflammation, prevent free-radical damage, this also helps with pigmentation .This is going to act as our preservative so that our tint lasts a little longer
FOOD COLOR: this to add color to our tint. You can use any of it type and color depends upon your choice
CONTAINER: now for container you can use anything, just wash it and clean it properly .I used vaseline's container you can use any
How to make?
You need 1/2 table spoon of rose water in a separate bowl ,
and then you add few pinches of food color powder (depends upon your choice and the color you desire)
and then in a separate bowl take 2 table spoon of glycerin and add 2 capsule of vitamin E and mix ,
than introduce the rose water with color to the glycerin mix
be careful while adding it so that it doesn't become too watery and runny in texture
